Make It Happen

Do not just talk about it, be about it. I remember when I was in high-school, our band director would always say "make it happen," when someone tried to offer up an excuse for why he or she did not or could not do something. All too often, we talk about our goals and plans for the future, and that is it. For the sake of the analogy, you are barking and not wagging. You tell yourself that you will get around to it tomorrow. When tomorrow comes, you tell yourself the same thing. Days have now turned into months, and months have turned into years. Why is it that we can make time for mindless activities like surfing the internet for hours on end, but we do very little to work towards our purpose?

I challenge you to be obedient to the calling the Lord has placed on your life, and make the time to work towards your goals everyday. Yes, every single day. Why is it that you want God to bless you with more of this and more of that, but you are not faithful with your current portion? Stop putting off for tomorrow, what you can do it today. Plan, Prepare, and Execute.

"Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.” Luke 16:10
